We undertake detailed feasibility studies on establishing new services, programmes or new organisations, in particular in the area of social enterprise. Recent feasibility studies have focused on a number of business areas, including the circular economy, the hospitality industry and homecare services within the homeless and criminal justice sectors.
The feasibility study usually starts with a thorough research of examples of best practice, both in Ireland and internationally. We then undertake a detailed stakeholder consultation process to determine the needs and expectations of all partners in the project. This is followed by a detailed analysis of the relevant business markets to determine whether there is a substantial market for the chosen products or services.
This research and analysis is then combined into proposals on options for legal structure, operations and the resources required, all of which is underpinned income and expenditure forecasts.
